2026 USCAC AANHPI Youth Leadership & Innovation Award is now officially open for applications.

Building upon the success of previous years, this year’s award expands to recognize excellence in two parallel categories:​

Youth Leadership Award
Honoring students who demonstrate outstanding leadership through community service, civic engagement, advocacy, and meaningful social impact.

Youth Innovation Award
Recognizing students who show exceptional creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, robotics, emerging technologies, scientific research, and transformative social solutions.

Applicants may apply to the category that best reflects their strengths and accomplishments. Achievement in one area does not require experience in the other.

Eligible applicants must be AANHPI high school students in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area.

Unlocking New Opportunities for Chinese Restaurant Brands in the U.S.

On March 16, 2026, the 2026 Maryland–China Catering Investment & Expansion Summit, jointly hosted by the Maryland Department of Commerce and the U.S.–China Association of Commerce (USCAC), was successfully held in Maryland. The event brought together government representatives, industry leaders, and business executives from both the United States and China to explore opportunities and pathways for Chinese restaurant brands to enter and expand in the U.S. market.

The China delegation consisted of leading restaurant brands, food supply chain companies, and investment institutions, covering sectors such as chain dining, tea and bakery, supply chain, brand management, and industry investment. The delegation demonstrated strong capabilities in large-scale operations and international expansion.【...】
